Elected Members Remuneration
Elected members are paid a salary as well as expenses eg. to cover mileage on council business and these are set out in the Salaries and Expense Rules document. For a copy of the Expenses Rules Click here
The Salary and Expenses are approved by the Remuneration Authority annually and after each triennial election.
