Whakatane District Libraries
This is a public library responsible to and funded by Whakatane District Council. One library card entitles a registered user to borrow from any of the four libraries in the system. Anyone may use the library and casual readers are welcome to spend time in the libraries reading, studying or checking on local events and national news.

What do YOU need to do?
This is an 'opt-in' programme. Email library@whakatane.govt.nz with the appropriate email address. Remember to let us know whether the email address is also to be used for library cards held by family members and nominate each card separately.
The email will go to the nominated address. It will bounce back to the library if your email address is no longer active and revert to a print notice.

Storyteller Molly Turnbull will be entertaining the children on Tuesday 15 July from 10.30am - 11.00am at the Museum. Children can also see the Tuhoe exhibit and the toy display in the Cabinet of Curiosities.
