Ten-year Council Community Plan (LTCCP)
In this section you are able to find out about the Council's Ten-year Council Community Plan. This Plan, otherwise known as the Long-term Council Community Plan (LTCCP) is a statutory requirement of the Local Government Act 2002 (LGA).
The LTCCP is a planning document that sets out the direction for the district for the next ten years. It outlines how the Council will further the social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing of the district by responding to the community outcomes.
Under the LGA the Council is required to adopt an LTCCP every three years. The Plan must be adopted by 1 July 2006 and every three years thereafter.
In the years between the production of an LTCCP, the Council will prepare Annual Plans. These documents will continue to provide detailed information on Council’s activities, expenditure and the determination of rates for the coming year.
