Creative Communities - Whakatane Scheme

The Creative Communities Whakatane Scheme is aimed at increasing participation in the arts at a local level and at increasing the range and diversity of arts available to communities.

Who Can Apply

All New Zealanders are eligible to apply to the Creative Communities Whakatane Scheme, either as individuals or groups. In principle, the Scheme offers support for projects rather than support for applicants and all applications are assessed according to the merit of the project, based on the Creative Communities Whakatane Scheme criteria. All applications, whether from individuals or groups, need to identify the benefits of the proposed project to the community.

The amount available in 2009/10 period is $25,000.
