| The Whakatane District Aquatic Centre has closed for repairs |
| The Council is extremely disappointed that the Aquatic Centre needs to be closed for major repairs after identifying a number of design problems. The Council is sorry for the inconvenience it will cause and wishes to thank the members of the community and sports clubs for their wonderful support in working with us to determine the best time for the pool closure. |
