Appointment of Community Representatives

Creative New Zealand provides $28,883 per annum for allocation towards creative projects in the community that include opportunities for residents of all ages to engage with and participate in the arts and to support diversity and cultural traditions.

The Whakatāne Allocation Committee requires three community representatives who are familiar with a broad range of local community and arts activities to serve on the committee for three years. Applications for funding are sought in May and November each year, and the allocation committee meets to distribute the funds in early June and early December.
