Part of Ngā Tapuwae o Toi walkway closed for controlled deer shooting operation
A section of the Ngā Tapuwae o Toi walkway, on Kōhī Point Scenic Reserve will be closed to the public from 6 am - 6 pm on Tuesday, 11 June, to allow a Department of Conservation contractor to carry out a controlled deer-shooting operation.
Plastic recycling changes begin this week
Whakatāne District Council is reminding residents that, from this weekend, only grades 1 and 2 plastics should be placed in yellow-top recycling bins and all other plastic grades should be placed in general refuse bins.

No change to 2019/20 Dog fees
