Council Plans

An Annual Plan is produced in the years when the Council does not prepare a Long Term Plan (LTP).

The Long Term Plan (LTP) is the Council’s main planning document. It outlines what Council plans to do over a 10-year period, why we plan to do it, how much it will cost, and who will pay.

The Whakatāne District Plan was made fully Operative on 21 June 2017.

The Ports Operational Plan is a management plan to assist the Council as the owner and operator of port assets and facilities.
