Affected Area: Rangitāiki Plains water scheme

Whakatāne District Council wishes to advise those on the Rangitāiki Plains water scheme that emergency works for a water main replacement to the Braemar line will commence this week from Wednesday, 9 September.

These works are expected to take 3-4 days during which time those on the Plains Water Scheme may experience low flow and pressure. Council apologies for any inconvenience caused while these necessary works are carried out.

Council thanks consumers for their cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience experienced during the essential emergency works.
