As a result of two resignations from elected members (Tina Barnett and James Goldsmith) of the Murupara Community Board (Murupara Subdivision), there are now two extraordinary vacancies and a by-election will be held.

As there were only two candidates for two vacancies, Memory Edmonds and Sheena Diana Jones have been declared duly elected to the Murupara Community Board (Murupara Subdivision).
