Retrolens - Historical Image Resource

Search for an address or location and go back in time — as far back as the 1930s — to see what the land was like in years gone by. Retrolens is managed by LINZ and is a jointly-funded project of various local authorities and services, including BoPLASS and the Bay of Plenty Regional Council.

Digital versions of historical Crown aerial imagery are continually being added as part of this project, with all of the Bay of Plenty region's archival aerial photos expected to be available by June 2018.
