Emergency Council Meeting

The Whakatāne District Council held an Emergency Council meeting on Tuesday, 24 March 2020 prior to the COVID-19 Alert Level 4 lockdown. The purpose of the meeting was to establish an Emergency
Committee which enables the Committee and the Chief Executive the ability to determine matters within the authority of Council where the urgency of those matters precludes a full meeting of the Council.

The Council will be notified of any decisions by email as soon as practicable after being made and reported formally to the next available meeting of the Council.

Steph O'Sullivan
Chief Executive
