Whakatāne District Council advises that due to the large volume of special votes to process there will unfortunately be a delay in receiving final election results.
Election Services have notified Council that final election results will be made available this Saturday (15 October).
Council will inform all candidates and the public as soon as results are available. Final results will also be published on at whakatane.govt.nz/beagamechanger
