Minor footpath replacement works on Kākahoroa Drive will begin Monday, 28 June, for approximately three weeks. The works include a slight realignment of the path.

The section of footpath repairs, located opposite New World, requires the temporary closure of the eastern end of the he matapuna paru (traditional flax dyeing pools) and the foot bridge from the skate park to Kākaharoa Drive.

Anyone using this section of footpath is encouraged to detour on the Warren Cole Walkway, or use the footpath on the southern side of Kākahoroa Drive.
