Over the next couple of days Whakatāne District Council will be carrying out repairs on the Whakatāne Commercial Wharf.
Contractor Mahy Cranes will be carrying out work on one of the support piles near the Quay Street entrance.
During this time there will be short periods of closure and the public will not be able to access this section of the wharf. Access is still available around the road area to the rest of the wharf.
