Whakatāne District Council advises Hillcrest Road will be temporary closed for maintenance for a one-day period
on Thursday 7th December, 2023, between the hours of 9am-5pm. This closure is between Carling Road and the bottom of Hillcrest Road (at George Street).
This work involves kerb and channel, drainage, footpath and vegetation maintenance, as well as reinstallation of lighting, to ensure the safety of all road and footpath users.
Access will be maintained for residents only. Mail and courier deliveries will not be affected.
